Compared to the last week alfalfa, grass hay, ground and delivered hay sold steady. Alfalfa pellets sold steady to 10.00 lower. National Slaughter Cattle Summary Week ending Nov. 4th



Slaughter cattle sold mostly steady.  Dressed trade in Nebraska was 1.00-2.00 lower. Boxed Beef prices as of Friday afternoon averaged 180.87 up 4.23 from last Friday.  The Choice/Select spread is 15.67.  Slaughter cattle on a national basis for negotiated cash trades through Friday afternoon totaled about 79,579 head.  Last week’s total head count was 148,440 head.
