Hundreds of dead cattle lead to California rancher’s arrest



Authorities have arrested a California rancher after allegedly finding hundreds of dead and malnourished livestock on his land. Large increase in cattle on feed



Cattle and calves on feed for the slaughter market in the United States for feedlots with capacity of 1,000 or more head totaled 11.7 million head on March 1, 2018.
