National Feeder & Stocker Cattle Summary, August 27
Bassett, Nebraska sold over 400 head of 7 weight steers that averaged 739 lbs at 123.10 and over 700 head of 9 weights that averaged 929 lbs at 111.74 on Aug. 25.

National Slaughter Cattle Summary, August 27
Slaughter cattle on a national basis for negotiated cash trades through Friday morning totaled about 118,768 head.  Last week’s total head count was 233,797.
